How I Show Up: My Approach

Many of you have tried therapy before and have felt unheard or unsatisfied. As a highly sensitive, gifted, AuDHD PDAer, I know from my own experience that standard approaches often aren't enough, or even feel jarringly misaligned. It takes a different kind of depth - a different quality of presence - to feel truly seen.

Here's how I show up:

I do not step into the room as an expert, nor do I come with prescribed solutions. My role is to walk beside, to reflect, and to hold a loving mirror so clients can see themselves more clearly. I deeply trust the inherent process of the person before me, attuning tentatively to their unique rhythm rather than imposing an artificial pace. What so many sensitive clients are truly seeking is not therapy in its conventional, clinical box. They are longing for something much quieter and far more radical: the unwavering affirmation that they are not broken, and the steady presence of someone who can help them remember how to listen to themselves.

For the kind of transformational, deep work that honours the whole soul, I commit to being a person who is:

Deeply Self-reflective: tracking my own motives, energy, and projections in real time as an ongoing form of accountability to the person in front of me.

Grounded in Unknowing: always willing to unlearn, question rigid frameworks, and dismantle the hierarchical "therapist-as-expert" model.

Comfortable with the Void: meeting ambiguity and silence with ease, never rushing toward a forced conclusion or artificial meaning.

An Anchor for Complexity: entirely unafraid of overexcitability, high intellect, intricate nuance, or immense spiritual depth.

Oriented toward Co-Creation: rejecting the idea that I might know best in favour of organic mutual discovery.

Committed to Immediate Repair: prioritizing the real impact on the relationship over my intent, moving swiftly to mend any injuries that might happen occasionally (as I am only human) with transparency and care.

To accompany another soul is to honour the sacred unknown. It is the willingness to sit without solving, trusting fully in each person's capacity to heal. This mean actively relinquishing control. It means meeting the other person with reverence rather than intervention. Those who operate at high levels of depth and sensitivity do not need to be managed, they need a relationship that honours their inherent capacity for self-healing, and a companion who never presumes to know better than their own inner wisdom.

This way of being doesn't always fit neatly into institutional roles or corporate systems that demand linear, measurable outcomes. But it protects a sacred, liminal space where truth can emerge on its own terms.

I do not assume expertise. I do not presume to know what is best for you. I do not approach our work with an intent to "fix."

What I offer is less easily defined or commodified by the modern world. It is simply the medicine of presence - acting more akin to a "village wise woman" and a sacred witness.

However, since the world we exist in still operates in a way that sometimes benefits from labels, what I say is that I offer a unique blend of Clinical Counselling combined with Intuitive Healing, to offer rich sessions that go deep to shine light on the truth of who you are meant to be.
